I’m confused because as of season 8, has it been 5 years since the first season or has it been 8? Yes, they started filming 8 years ago but that’s filming. In one ep of season 8 Nolan talks to grey about going to dc and they talk about Nolan doing the academy with grey saying, “you were also 5 years younger” assuming that’s when he completed the academy. Another thing is the rookie fto program timeline. The rookie period is 12-13 months but our first rookies don’t finish until season 3 and Celina finishes in season 7.
BUT When Tim proposed to Lucy, he said “for the last 8 years you’ve shown me just how much light there really is” which means he’s known Lucy for 8 years..
