Is it weird to like your own chapters? Idk why I asked that, because I don't care. I've already decided to like my own chapters, LOL.

The issue isn't that your writing sucks. The issue is that you lack discipline and confidence. Stay woke.

I put actual effort into my book cover, and I'm high key proud of myself ^_^. My depression is lifting, and I'm tapping into my creative side with confidence ^_^.

I find myself coming back to my first love whenever I slip into dark periods now.  It's a thing that I neglect, a love that I push to the back to focus on more 'sustainable' things, but that's not how you treat your first love. Perhaps, I abandon my first love because I'm fearful of not succeeding, or what if I am afraid of succeeding and having to deal with a slew of new 'problems' from success?
          
          I said all that to say this: I'm in a writing/editing mood today. LOL.

Hey! I'm starting off Monday with a stronger foot forward, lol. SO, I need to create a portfolio of my editing/proof-reading/copy-editing/line-editing abilities. Is anyone interested in an in-depth edit (first chapter)? I need permission to use a sample of the edit for my portfolio, like "I give Rory Baptiste permission to use this chapter for her editing portfolio." Idk, something like that. You get it, lol.

Does anyone need a quick review? I have free time to look at someone's first chapter today. BUT you have to be in need. If you have an insane amount of likes already, it's a no. This is an opportunity for those who are struggling to receive likes.
