Rosaline George Russeau is a writer who lives in North Carolina with her husband and 5 years old one-eyed Maine Coon-mix cat, Heath.   She comes from three generations of immigrants, originating in Eastern Turkey, who then took refuge in Lebanon, eventually ending up in the United States and Sweden, because of genocide and civil war. This has given her an appreciation for life. You never know where your feet are going to land and anything is possible. It keeps you humble. It also has given her a love for culture and she is a linguaphile. She is an advocate for mental health awareness, particularly Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Religion. Rosaline has been published in Hennen's Observer, an online magazine, and had her writing recognized in online groups, such as Writers of Fuzia and Fanstory. She published a book of poetry in 2006, studied creative writing in fiction in college, along with Rhyme and Meter in poetry. She has submitted screenplays into competitions, such as Scriptapalooza. She spent several years chasing the acting dream, studying the Meisner technique, going on auditions, performed some dinner theater and hilariously played the female lead character in a horribly written low budget film, which was never released (Thank God). At the moment she is working on a memoir. Life is a journey and takes you in various directions. She has always known that her direction is toward writing and despite life's detours (such as having a family obligation to work in the Pawnshop business for several years), has kept her passion alive and will not allow anything else to pull her off of that path.
