@Bakumasu So Spirit has joined the Akatsuki. She spends some time with them; like training, learning about them, and going on missions with them. And she becomes known to be in the akatsuki by other villages.  While out on another mission she, and which ever akatsuki member she is with, come across her old team and team 7 who are looking for her and Sasuke (depending on whether you chose to have Sasuke leave already) and they try to bring Spirit back. 
            I wasn't sure where you would want to go from there, like have her go back to the leaf village, stay with the akatsuki, or something else.
