Hello all - this is a long one, so apologies in advance! 
          
          Firstly - Happy New Year! I hope 2026 brings each and every single one of you the joy and happiness you all deserve. I know I'm going to try and make this year the best ever (even though I say that, and fail, every year lol)
          
          Secondly - thank you all so much for 15k on Between the Broken and the Brave, and also the love I've received so far about the sequel, Between the Broken and the Saved. Seeing so many of you adding it to your reading lists and expressing your excitement has just filled me with such warmth and happiness. I love you all so deeply.
          
          Third and finally - Three Years. I am so sorry I didn't get around to updating before Christmas. On Christmas Day, I came down with the flu during dinner (thanks for all your help, flu jab... NOT!), and I'm still quite under the weather. I have also been non-stop this week because I finally got to meet some of my best friends @Courtiss, @emotionlessnightmare and @CalStevo - who I met through this amazing fandom. 
          
          All this to say that Three Years WILL be published in the next sort of two weeks - my final exam is on the 16th of January, and then I am FREEE. So expect many updates for Three Years to come out, new chapters of Between the Broken and the Saved and also the newly edited chapters of Between the Broken and the Brave that will be following (only if you are curious - don't worry, there will be no plot changes!).
          
          Wow, that was long-winded, wasn't it?

          I can’t believe I’m having to make this post, but here we are.
          
          If you don’t want to read my books, that’s absolutely fine.
          
          If my stories, my writing style, or my original characters aren’t your cup of tea, that’s fine too.
          
          What isn’t fine is leaving negative comments on my work simply because you don’t like the way I’ve written a character. That kind of criticism isn’t constructive, it isn’t helpful, and it doesn’t benefit me or my writing in any way. It only serves to make me feel bad about myself and something I care deeply about.
          
          I’m not sitting here thinking I’m the best writer in the world. I’m always open to genuine, helpful feedback. But small, unkind comments that offer no guidance or purpose just feel negative for the sake of it.
          
          No one is being asked or forced to read my work. I don’t expect everyone who opens one of my books to love it, or even to like it at all. But if it isn’t for you, please just move on quietly. Negative and downright rude comments are unnecessary for everyone involved.
          
          I hope this doesn’t come across as hostile. This is simply the third time this has happened now, and it’s starting to get to me.
          
          To those of you who are endlessly supportive, I love you all to pieces. Truly.

THREE YEARS UPDATE:
          
          Hi all, I’ve had a few messages on TikTok & in my comments asking me when chapter 14 will be out.
          
          Unfortunately it won’t be uploaded until at least after Christmas :(
          
          I do have some of it written, but with the festive period and my exams approaching (I know I sound like a broken record) I can’t dedicate as much time to this chapter as I would like.
          
          I will hopefully get it out before the new year! In the meantime, feel free to follow my TikTok (linked in my bio) where I post edits and chapter teasers of Hazel and Seb!
