@RoughWriter204 Okay, after being busy all day and trying to find the right way to word it, here is my advice.
Just write.
Sure, seems simple, but just do it. Doesn’t matter if what comes out doesn’t make grammatical sense, physical sense, metaphorical sense, or any kind of sense.
That’s what I do. Pull random shit out my ass and write it down. The only planning I do is grammar revision (making sure autocorrect doesn’t fuck up anything).
Anyway, just have fun.
Write, and if something you wrote doesn’t fit the present or beginning, make it a future chapter. Continue from there if you like. It could help you work your way down from there if you are stuck on present chapters and don’t know how to proceed. Make connections easy. Also, envision your scenes if possible. That should help you see interactions, dialogues, action scenes, romance, facial expressions, etc. However, it is harder to fit what you envision into words, so be careful.
Yeah, anyway, let your hands and mind guide you and just type away.
Yeah, I’m not sure if that’ll help you, I’m not an expert despite my small success on my stories. I am an amateur. But I’ll grow, especially now as one life comes quickly to a close and another to begin. You’ll grow. I know it and look forward to it. You got this bro. Keep it up.
P.S- my advice can be taken with a grain of salt, of course.
