Hey Rowan! It's been so long, I hope you're doing well. I was recalling my old friends from Wattpad and I knew I had to talk to you.
On another note, would you be willing to help me with my academic research survey? I need diverse opinions on the Representation of the Indian Queer community on Wattpad and I'm sure your voice will add incredible value to my research. @RowanCarver oh it's fine if you have an international perspective on this, Rowan. For example, many American women who identify as straight still consume Thai BL dramas quite ardently so you can still be a part of the survey with whatever level of knowledge you have on the matter.

@RowanCarver I hate that your story didn’t fit the mold of what they are looking for in paranormal stories. I wish I could write a novella, but I’m more of a novel-writer than a novella-writer. Still, congrats on making the Longlist! If you can make something commercial, you can make it anywhere.

@RowanCarver "Fairy Crosses" is a wonderful story - it's so thoughtful and sensitive. I loved it. Sometimes you don't win a contest because they're looking for something particular and yours doesn't fit that mould. It's genuinely great, and you're right to be proud of it. (It was hard to even make the Longlist, so congratulations!!!!)

@DankMemesTTCaricom yeah honestly our entry was so rushed, and the topic didn’t really seem to match the other shortlisters. I noticed there was lots of supernatural entries that made it through (angels, demons, etc). I don’t think Fairy was commercial enough, and it’s a more somber tale
