I just saw the solar eclipse! I'm not sure if any of y'all saw it, but it was the most AMAZING thing ever! Here's a picture of what it looked like in totality (where I was). http://wwwcdn.skyandtelescope.com/wp-content/uploads/2008-total-eclipse-Espenak.jpg .
           Back at my school though, they only got 97%, so they had to keep their glasses on. However, at where I traveled to, we got 100% of the eclipse and took off the glasses. It was 93 degrees Fahrenheit, then it cooled down to about the low eighties. It started to dim and eventually went dark. The sunset was 360 degrees, meaning that it was completely dark around us, but there was a sunset in every direction. The Locusts and Cicadas started making noise, then stopped when it was over. It lasted about 4 minutes, but was so incredible that I'm glad I went. ♡ To anyone that didn't see the full totality, I'm so sorry! Message me with any questions about it if you wish ♡
