A small update, and maybe good news depending on how you read.

Miss You Like Crazy is a completed book.

Every chapter is written. The story has a beginning, a middle, and an ending that I've been sitting with for a while now. It will publish in full, without hiatus, without interruption. If you're the kind of reader who has been burned by unfinished stories before — this one is done. You can settle in.

Almost Someone's Love Story is close. Not finished yet, but far enough along that I know exactly where it's going and how it ends. Still writing it carefully. Still giving it the time it asks for.

If you'd like to read ahead on either story, advance chapters are available on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/cw/ruiaiya

Both stories are published there first before updating here.

Thank you for being here. Two stories, one universe, and I'm glad you found your way in.

A little something for readers of both stories.

If you've been reading Almost Someone's Love Story, you already know Sam, Monica, and Ellie.

You know how much they love Eun Woo.

You know the fan accounts they follow, the way they dissect his every appearance, the group chat that goes absolutely unhinged whenever he posts something new, and the specific devastation of a long silence from someone you've been following for years.

Here's what I can tell you.

          That silence has a reason.

Miss You Like Crazy and Almost Someone's Love Story exist in the same universe, running on almost the same timeline.

While the trio are watching from the outside, Sam, Monica, and Ellie are living exactly what it feels like to be part of an audience that notices something has shifted but cannot name what or why.

          They are the public perspective.

Miss You Like Crazy is everything they don't have access to.

You don't need to read one to understand the other. Both stories are complete on their own. But if you're reading both —

You will feel the edges where they touch.

          And it will hit different.

Almost Someone's Love Story — the outside looking in.
Miss You Like Crazy — what's actually happening.

Two stories. One universe. Start wherever you want.

You'll find your way to the other.

Hi.

Still figuring out this whole Wattpad thing honestly, so bear with me.

I'm Rui Aiya. I wrote Almost Someone's Love Story because I wanted to write something that didn't feel like it was in a hurry. No grand romantic gestures, no dramatic misunderstandings. Just Sam, her friends, and a town in Batangas where life is slow and people know each other a little too well.

Sam has never had a boyfriend. That's not the tragedy. That's just where we start.
I've been sitting with this story for a while. It's the kind I kept coming back to, so eventually I just wrote it down.

If you're here, thank you for giving it a chance. I hope it feels like something.
