And I can't help but think Renesmee got what was coming to her as well. She loves Nahuel, or is starting to have feelings for him, so she essentially betrayed Jacob. And now Jacob's feelings for her have disappeared. So she's lost Jacob's love for her. Because she cheated on him. 
          Im happy for the pack. Since Jacob is gone they don't have to be weighed down by the dark cloud of aiding vampires anymore. You said Jacob was La Push's prime protecter, or leader. And now they've lost that. But is that really a bad thing? I don't think so. With him gone the wolves lost their main tie to the vampires. They lost a great wolf in Jacob yes, but overall Jacob's situation is not a bad thing for them as a whole at all. 
          Anyway that's the backbone of my theory. And I think it's right. Let me know.

There are some things that aren't meant to be messed with. Like I said before it all comes back to Edward. The move in the first place was his idea. An imprint is not to be messed with. And we all know he was the only one that wanted to separate Renesmee and Jacob, and was the main reason Renesmee was driven into the arms of Nahuel. And I'm surprised Edward or the Cullen's for that matter, even allow him to be around because he took avantage of Renesmee. We all know he did. And Edward, being a mind reader should know that. Which begs the question of why no one is angry at Nahuel. Unless they all(or Edward) wanted that to happen. Anything is better their precious daughter than a smelly wolf right? Him moving her put her in such a fragile state she wasn't thinking right. And at this point I suppose he's thinking he got everything he wanted right? Jacob is away from his daughter. His daughter is not dead. He got everything he essentially wanted. WRONG!!! Karma is a bitch. And since he tried to drive the person he loved away from the person she loved, he's going to lose his love. Bella. Bella's feelings for Jacob, and his for her, are staring to come back. And she might not choose Edward anymore. And to me that wouldn't be anything less than what Edward deserves. He didn't want Renesmee to be happy with the one she wanted to be happy with, so he might lose his happiness. He took Renesmee away from Jacob, so he ends up losing Bella. *Rubs hands together while chuckling evilly* Oh I love karma.

And poor Jacob got the worst of it all because he was the one that tried to upset that balance. Everything he's ever known is gone. But it's not the end of the world. He still has that auto shop or whatever right? And he's not weighed down by an imprint or higher force or border patrol or any other pack duties. He's basically a regular human. He doesn't have the speed, senses, or reflexes of wolves, he doesn't even have vampire benefits. Jacob is essentially free. He can be whatever he wants to be. Do whatever he wants to do. Be with whoever he wants to be with without anything effecting his decision. And that's not a bad thing to me. If he wants to be with a full vampire he can be because he's not a wolf anymore, or a sworn enemy to vampires. I just hope the pack will still accept him because he is still Jacob.

The real person to blame here is Edward. Just like with Bella when she died, he couldn't let her go. Being a vampire, an immortal in general, is about sacrifice. That is the one thing I dont think Edward has ever understood. He didn't even care about the consequences that changing Renesmee might have on Jacob. He didn't care. 
          That's another thing. Vampires and Werewolves are NOT MEANT to get along. Or mingle. That's changed since Jacob imprinted on Renesmee and I cant help but think some higher force is trying to set it right. I always thought that Jacob imprinting on Renesmee would never turn out well. We never got to see the way that turned out in the books(canon), and Stephanie hasn't announced a Jacob/Renesmee series yet. But anyways the two species are sworn enemies. I always thought the wolves got the burnt end of the deal of that imprint. Having to always come to the Cullen's every trouble with vampires because of Jacob. Normally they would have mainly 3. Jacob, Seth, and Leah. But like I said, the two creatures aren't meant to get along. Look at what happened. The Cullen's lost the only wolves that would help them. Jacob was able to resist Sam's order to stay out of the first battle with the Volturi because he was the true Alpha of the pack. It was in his blood to lead. Jacob's not a wolf anymore. And the alphas now are Jared, and Sam. Jared was always in Sam's pack in staying out of vampires affairs. So we all know where his loyalties lie. And poor Seth has no rank or power at all. And we all know how Leah feels. So yeah no more wolf alliances.

I just finished 'Imprinted To Be Mine' and I think I've figured things out. (Sorry I give spoilers for your whole story(if they're right))
          
          Jacob's situation seems fairly easy to me to figure out. He's not a wolf anymore because Renesmee is a full vampire now. That tether, or cord, that connected Jacob and Renesmee was effected when Renesmee was turned. 
          Wolves have lived on without their imprint before, after their imprint died and suffered no major consequences from it. Except for that void inside them that fester's without their mate. They're still wolves. Jacob's situation is different because full werewolves cannot imprint on full vampires. That's why his feelings for Renesmee disappeared because that driving factor is gone. 
          If Edward(we all know it was him) had just let Renesmee die then Jacob would still be a wolf. But since they were legit connected by some higher deity, her turning affected Jacob in other ways since he himself was not fully turned. 
          JACOB AND RENESMEE WERE STILL CONNECTED WHEN SHE WAS TURNED. The only reason Jacob was able to imprint on Renesmee in the first place is because she was half human. 
          Which is what Jacob is essentially right now. I'm sure he can still eat food, can still drink regular drinks etc. The only thing that's different about him is he has no heartbeat. He's still Jacob. And I hope the pack sees that.
