Hey, guys.
I know these past two months have been rough, especially for those who have lost loved ones from the virus. I just want everyone to know that there are plenty of people who love and care for you and are willing to help you through these tough times. The virus shouldn't be able to rob you of the solace you and your family deserve. I hope this small message can express my condolences along with everyone's support they're giving you.
If someone doesn't have anyone to talk to, please feel free to message me no matter the time or even if I don't personally know you. None of you deserve to feel like you don't matter or that you're alone during COVID, because you're not. Don't be afraid to reach out and talk to others (whether it's me or even someone on social media). All of us are going through this together, and we will remain together until this epidemic ends.
Stay optimistic that the epidemic is going to end soon, but also be realistic. We don't know what the future holds, so don't drop all of the rules we've had to follow for quarantine as soon as it ends.
Please don't:
1) have a party or go to bars immediately
2) throw out your masks and gloves right away
3) stop washing your hands thoroughly
4) immediately visit high-risk people
5) plan a big international vacation
6) visit friends without ensuring it's safe to be near each other
I know this isn't enough for a lot of people going through hard times, but maybe it can give some of you that flicker of confidence and hope that everything will be alright in the end.
I wish that everyone remains safe and healthy ❤️
