I recently graduated from Southampton Solent University with a 2:1 in screenwriting, and now I'm adapting my screenplay ideas into short stories in order to gain the experience and confidence to try my hand at writing a full length book that I have been planning. It's got sex and robots in it, and I might even slip in a dragon for good measure.

I love reading science fiction and fantasy. My favourite authors are Peter V Brett and James Lovegrove, although the list is growing. Ben Aaronovitch and Mark Lawrence are working their way up the ranks. I try to avoid the classics because they're mostly part of pop culture, and I like to discover the hidden gems (or whatever Waterstone's choose to put on their display shelves).
