Born in '63, I've lived in Alberta, Canada all my life, from the east side to west, north part to south. I live in High Prairie now, since 2003, with my wife Donna, where were tend our daughter, her husband and their four children. We also have a son with his wife and two daughters living eight-hours away. My first public writing was is the early 1980's when I won an award for Best New Poet of the Year from the American Poetry Society and was published in an Anthology. I was invited to present my work to an audience at a convention in Seattle, Washington. But due to finances, as well as work and college schedules, I had to decline. Being an introvert I don't think I really regretted declining. Since then I've discovered I've become an extroverted introvert and love to go for coffee to make connections, but I still hate public crowds. I write sci-fi and poetry, but my mainstay is fantasy which I publish under Inevitable Unicorn Press, www.inupress.ca, I write several blogs including one for the local writing group I manage, the, Fellowship of the Scribblers. It is over 72,000 words and is fantasy, set in my Quantos world setting.
