E-102 better know by his codename Gamma is a Highly trained robotic assailant created by Dr Ivo Robotnik (better known ass eggman) to serve on the egg carrier. Gamma would end up rebelling against his creator but would ultimately meet his fate at the hands of his older brother beta. However it seems due to someone tampering with time and space Gamma  has been brought to the present.
