everyone pls keep in ur thoughts the ppl i go to school with who didn't get to check out. theres now been over 100 students checking out because there were significant school sh00ting threats to ours and the high schools  around us to the point where the teachers (who could lose their job for saying something ab it to us) were telling us to call our parents to pick us up bc they were getting seriously conerned. multiple people have posted to their stories that ppl need to go home asap. the police in the area were notified and are putting units at the schools now but its still becoming an increasingly serious threat so pls pray for them, wish them the best, whatever it is u do bc while thankfully i was able to get checked out, over a third of the high schoolerss alone (not including the middle school or elementary school right beside our hs) are still there. i'm terrified somethings going to happen to them.

okay so my brother was born on August 15th yayyyy but noy yay bc they had to transport him to a hospital with a better NICU 3 hours after he was born bc she was having trouble breathing

          so my brothers go to summer camp and this is their last week 
          last weekend they told us the camp was giving all the kids fish...
          
          "live?" we all understandably questioned
          
          "yup!" 
          
          there was never a fucking permission slip sent home, literally ever single parent found out through the kids, nobody had any clue otherwise 
          
          so now we have Pips and Bobby, my brothers new Betta Fish, that came home in typical pet store plastic containers and "Aquariums" 
          
          The "Aquariums" in question hold MAYBE a coffee mug and a half of water (idk how else to measure that bc i'm being lazy rn but whatever) and are PLASTIC and painted with some freaking acrylic paint they let the kids have
          
          in my (brief) research and reading through the packet they brought home, this is my conclusion
          
          (and we are not wealthy by any means but we aren't poor and my mother is 7 months pregnant and about to quit her job (which brings in half the income) so our money is however going bye bye quite a bit) 
          
          According to the packet, we need to buy (per fish bc they didn't specify if they're male and female and ig males can't be in the same tank)

          and idk i'm kinda pissed the camp never asked any parents if this was okay?? bc now my brother's are attached to these fish, my moms too mad to want to talk ab it, and we have to go spend a shit ton of money on fish stuff for fish nobody said they could have

my guy best friend has officially failed me in our quest of proving that "not ever girls guy best friend has feelings for her" is true.

idk why but the sweetest thing I have ever experienced is when I was just talking ab different types of sodas with my guy best friend and he knows i've never liked soda so he said "I'll just buy 2 liters of Dr. Pepper and let them to flat for you because I know you still like the flavor" like thank you ily but no thats a crime
