In my many years as a writer, I’ve written a lot of stories. Starting with the days when I used to peck at my mom’s electric typewriter, I’ve always loved using my words to entertain and uplift people.

I remember how in elementary school I read a story that I had written aloud in class. It was a tale about a boy who turned into a wolf. You should have seen me, an ashy kid addicted to Snickers, read those words with my voice soaring, as if I had written the Holy Bible or something. Somehow that silly story inspired the school’s principal to suggest that I be tested for the gifted.

Eventually, I used my powers as a storyteller to write and produce documentaries for The Walt Disney Company. One of the more popular docu-series I created was titled “This Is Me,” which featured the company’s employees. The series was a hit because it looked beyond employees’ jobs and examined who they were, what they believed in and where they were going. What I realized is that the stranger passing you in the hall is often more familiar than you realize. She, like you and me, just wants to love and be loved — and this realization inspired me to return to fiction writing.

Think about it: at the root of everything we do is love – even the bad stuff. A businessman works 60 hours a week to provide for the family he loves. A thief robs and steals for the same reason. Men beat their wives because they’re afraid their lovers will leave them. A mother sacrifices her free time for her children. We pursue money, power and sex — all because we love ourselves. My goal as a writer is only this: to stop this unending search for love and actually find it.

Let me send you my love stories now – for free. Just subscribe to the newsletter on my website, and every week I’ll send you a soulful story that will make you think, feel, and hopefully uplift you. This is also the only way to receive exclusive stories will not be shared on WattPad.

Please enjoy,
