i forgot that like one of the things that made the internet feel so free and escapist back in the late 2000s/early 2010s was the whole roleplay culture

Each year I return to this site, it just keeps getting worse. I don't say that lightly, as I absolutely adored this place back in 2017. The years haven't been kind to this site, though, and I'd encourage my followers to look into what "Enshitification" is. It's not the fanfare or the users, but the infrastructure, the business model, and the robotic admins. It's a crying shame that nothing good truly ever lasts. So, I'll see ya around.
