So, here's how things have been since Friday...
Saturday morning: My Internet ADSL line dropped with them 'upgrading' the exchange in the area. It's still down. In South Africa, telephone telecommunications are not privatised - we rely on a parastatal organisation (i.e. it's owned by the government but runs as a separate organisation). 3G or mobile providers, as an alternative, are hugely expensive.
Yesterday: Electricity in my whole area (eastern Johannesburg) dropped and only came on this morning. In South Africa, electricity is not privatised either, so again we rely on a parastatal organisation to provide electricity. As a country we are currently experiencing some major problems with our electricity supply, which is quite a long story and doesn't help in terms of productivity.
As you can see, in both instances, the government is not providing very good service to its citizens in South Africa right now and you can imagine how frustrating that is. Election time is next month, though! :)
This means that I'm just behind in absolutely everything :( Really not the best time! I will upload new chapters very soon, so sorry everyone!
