"Use a smaller tin," she said.

"We'll just have a quarter each," she said.

Well, Mother dearest, I hope you enjoy the consequence of your actions

Bit of a rant:

I took a step back from my writing the other day and looked over some of my works - namely Love's Wither Rose, another fic I've been working on (not gonna publish it here I don't think) and an original story as well as a few old abandoned WIPS - to get a general overview of what my writing style is like (mainly I was just curious) and I noticed something

I noticed that the majority of the characters I write are male or of unspecified gender (as in LWR), and when I do write female or AFAB characters I genuinely struggle to get into their heads and really connect with them, which is a bit odd given that I myself am AFAB. For some reason I just innately find it easier to write male characters cuz I find I end up relating to them more, and if I were to swap that character's gender to female while keeping everything else the same, it just feels Wrong™ and suddenly I can't write that character as well as I could anymore

It's led me to start questioning things about myself and I've concluded that I'm just Not Gonna Unpack That Box™ lol
