I was born in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan in 1991 and grew up there. I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Tohoku University in 2014 and lived in Hachioji, Tokyo from 2016 to 2023. I have been living in Sendai since May 2023. I have been writing for eight years with the aim of becoming a novelist. During that time, I mainly worked part-time at convenience stores to earn a living. It was a frustrating situation, but when I think about it now, it may have been a fortunate situation for me to be able to see the faces of various customers every day.  It became my daily routine to imagine their lives, their experiences, and their emotions. I may be trying to reaffirm the value of communication. Writing a novel and having it read is a special form of communication. It's quiet, but when it goes well, I think it gives us a sense of spiritual fulfillment. I will continue to write with the aim of obtaining such mysterious communication. After all, that's what my heart desires most.
