everyone, 
          
          it's been a year since sof went missing. im so sorry for not logging on and updating, i know that most of you were worried. we found sof a month ago, she is safe now and is currently being hospitalized. i do not wish to disclose the situation of what happened to her without her permission and consent. i will respect her boundaries and until she allows me or tells you all herself, what happened will remain unknown. i hope you all understand, i know you would as most of you are great friends to sof.  im so happy that she is alive and back home. 
          
          sof wants to let all of you know that she loves you so much and is surprised that people still stuck around to hear the updates from me on what is going on. she wants me to publish the remaining chapters of her story and for you all to not worry about her.

          hi again, it's benji. sorry i haven't been able to answer any questions or comments. i haven't had the courage to open wattpad for a while. we still haven't found sofia. it's been 2 months since the say she went missing. however, we found her car at the edge of our city limit. it was empty and the driver's seat door was left open. some people think she ran away. but knowing sofia, i dont think she would run away despite the problems or issues she had. she was always very determined and ambitious, never backing down on a challenge no matter how hard it was. i dont believe she ran away. i think something else may have happened to her. however, it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about what could have happened to her or what is currently happening to her. i miss her so much.
          
          i've been looking though all her books on wattpad recently for the memories. she finished writing all the chapters for her most recent book The King and The Boss. i know she really enjoyed writing this story. she would always be excited to share each chapter with all of you. so i was thinking about possibly publishing the chapters. i dont want her beautiful writing to go to waste.

          it's been so hard. we've been trying to get more and more people for a search party in our town but people have started to give up. even the police have told me they're trying their best but it seems as if they are uninterested in finding her now. there are times where i want to give up. but then i remember her, when she was with me, her laugh, her smile, how ambitious she was, how  selfless she was, how she was always looking out for others even strangers, and how passionate she was about writing. there's no way i can give up on someone like her. even if it means i have to find her on my own, ill do it.

          hey. it's benji. im sure a lot of you are wondering why i am writing this message rn. a lot of you are prob wondering why sofia isn't writing this or where she's been. well im here to explain that. 
          
          on july 4th, 2021 at around 10pm, i got a phone call from sofia's parents. they had asked me if she was at my house (she was supposed to come over to watch the fireworks with me. i had been texting her but i got no response). i was scared and concerned and told her parents she wasn't at my house. they had told me she left at around 6pm to drive over to my house and hasnt returned home. i began to panic and i hung up to go search for her. it was hard because many people were out to watch fireworks for 4th of july. i called the police and informed them about her missing. that night i stayed up searching and worrying. we didn't find her that night or even her car. 
          
          it's been a month since that happened and it's been so hard without her. she's still under a missing persons report and our town is doing everything we can to find her, but there hasn't been any luck. 
          
          i haven't slept for days. i miss her so much. i've been visiting her parents and spending time with her family. i couldn't step foot in her room till now. i found a sticky-note with her wattpad password and decided to write this message to you, the people who loved reading her stories and friends of sof. 
          
          im sorry all of you had to find out this way. i will keep all of you updated more often. for now, this is all that i can tell you for personal reasons and also the fact that even writing this message is hard to do for me.
          
          im sure sof wouldn't want any of you to worry about her, she always wanted to keep things light-hearted for the sake of others. she's caring like that. 
          
          anyways, this is goodbye for now. 
          
          stay safe when you go outside everyone, you never know what could happen.

          I want to take this time and opportunity to officially come out to all of you as biromantic 
          (biromantic = romantic, emotional, and aesthetic attraction to more than one gender, but omission of sexual attraction)
          
          I have always labeled myself as bisexual for almost 3 years now, however, upon recent discoveries, I am in fact on the asexual spectrum!
          I feel way more comfortable with this label and I hope that all of you who are still questioning will too find a label that will make them feel at home :)
