I was once a reader who spent hours lost in dog-eared pages-chasing fire-breathing dragons through fantasy realms, laughing at awkward rom-com hijinks, crying over the quiet heartbreak of slice-of-life moments. Now, I write the stories I once hunted for in bookstores and libraries, under the name Sanmei Hikage-"three lights, shadow of light." The "three lights" that guide my pen are as distinct as they are intertwined: one blazes with the pulse of action, the suspense of thrillers, and the wonder of high-stakes adventure; another glows with the warmth of drama, the tenderness of romance, and the joy of everyday comedy. But it's in the "shadow of light"-the soft, balanced core of my ambivert self-that these worlds collide and bloom. Here, epic battles give way to whispered confessions, and bold heroes reveal their quiet fears. And it's here, too, that my past as a reader shines brightest: I know the electric jolt of a plot twist that stops your heart, the comfort of a character who feels like a reflection of yourself, and the magic of a story that wraps around you like a blanket. In the end, I write not just to tell tales, but to illuminate the hidden threads that tie all readers-and all parts of who we are-together: the bold and the gentle, the thrilling and the quiet, the dreamer and the realist.
