Y'know that feeling when you told people about your fanfic idea and talk about it for a second and hope at least two people will like it because that's the perfect amount of support, but suddenly you're pinged and get an almost overwhelming amount of support from people who love your idea and are excited and actually willing to read what you're willing to write.
Yeah, I did that. Twice! For a Marvel father/son fanfic for Tony Stark & Peter Parker and an Eddsworld fanfic about the psychological struggles of one character. Guess what? Ye a h- apparently people like my ideas– which really scared me- in a good way(?).
So now those stories are both heavily a work in progress and I've got tons and tons of notes, research and ideas for them both. I wanna write a very long first chapter and continue that thread because I really wanna give people something g o o d and not waste their time with an underwhelming length of a chapter. First impressions are everything after all, especially in the writing world. Now I'm taking much longer to write, just because of that, I'm not blaming anything or anyone. This is just a small vent of me wanting to please people hahah-
The fact that I'm taking so long though has me feeling like I lied to everyone when in reality I'm just over thinking and getting random burst of writer's block every time I start to bash my own writing. Sucks man, F in the chat, but also Pog because it's kinda fun.
