i am an average teenager who loves writing stories. i am good at literature and am confident in writing. My stories range in genre and up until now i have only written small and short stories. I am just starting too write my first decent length book. I enjoy reading other peoples stories too. I tend to get lost in stories and their worlds and if they are good enough, i will end up thinking about them during the day. i think stories make good retreats from the real world and your problems. They give you a sense of belonging and security. Books are friends that are always there for you, no matter what happens and they will always be where you left them. They don't hide secrets from you and they never do anything wrong. I think the main reason stories appeal to me are the fact that anything can happen in them. They can break the laws of science and things that would seem impossible become possible. from wizards to spaceships to zombies, they all all possible with a complex and yet simple combination of letters, words, sentences and paragraphs. the best stories have the best story lines. the best books aren't focused on the action but are focused on the possibility of story line expanding and character development
