It didn't seem right for someone his age to be threatening someone - most of his peers would play or help their parents with chores, or do other... kid stuff. But not him. There was something about him... Regardless of his age, it felt wrong to underestimate him. He was far stronger than he looked. The glint in his grey eyes showed that.

" he looked around for a minute , before realizing he really didn't know / where / to go . he didn't come all the way out here often , especially not so late. Well, " he paused for a moment, " well if it isn't any trouble, then I'll accept your help, " he says. After another moment, he quickly put his knife away. " Thank you, " he said. Not many people wanted to help him with something like that, which made it a challenge to learn basic academics.

" i can help you with that - if you want . i have a few books with me that i was going to return , but i guess it could wait . " he was more than happy to help , feeling sorry that the kid was struggling with something he should've known how to do at his age.
