Update!! Powerful People (by: Sara Abagail) is now FREE on Amazon! Please check it out if you can and leave a review!!
          	Synopsis:

If faced with a choice between beauty or power, what would you pick?
Becky Slater chose power, and it has haunted her life ever since.

Now at age 22, Becky is fed up with all the beautiful people in her life. Between her mother, sister Gina, and best friend Louriza, she feels doomed to forever be fading into the background of their successes. It wasn't supposed to be like this. She was a Slater, after all- a member of the most successful demon hunting families on the East Coast. She should have been as good a hunter as her sister by now, but she couldn't be. Not in this world which prefers their women be more beautiful than powerful. Instead, she lives with the burden of hiding her super strength, and wants nothing to do with her family's demon hunting business.

The good news is, the Slaters are in a demon hunting rut. One more year without a catch will have them all kicked out of the Hunters Coalition. For Becky, this could mean freedom at last from a lifetime of always being the strangest girl in the room.

It all seems clear until Raymond Cavell, the charming young CEO of her favorite makeup company, calls with a deal for the hunt of a lifetime. Whisked away to his penthouse in New York City and into his fast-paced, deceitful world of business, Becky embarks on an adventure which forces her to redefine what it means to be powerful.

Hi! I know I disappeared but it was only because I’ve been working on something I wanted to fully complete it before doing anything with it. Now that it’s done I’m trying to decide if I want to self publish or send to literary agents to try to traditionally publish. If anyone has advice on this, please share!

SDAbigail

Thanks! I’ve started querying I hope I hear back soon

@SDAbigail try to have it traditionally publish first, they're professionals who have market your book out to thousands of readers. a lot of things that you'd have to figure out yourself they'll either do it for your or they'll help you (book cover, editing, marketing, signings/promotions, etc). that's just my opinion!! ❤️

Hi! I remember reading your winx stories on fanfiction.net and really enjoyed them. I took a trip down memory lane and saw that you updated in 2019. You are an amazing writer and I broke my heart to learn that you thought you were horrible when that wasn’t the case at all. We need more writers like you! You don’t know much I appreciated and still appreciate your writing. You are amazing! It’s writers like you that inspired me to write as well.

hey. so i remember reading second chances on fanfiction.net back in 2012, and let me tell you, thank you so much for writing that. i just thought about it again and saw your update from 2019 talking about your wattpad and now i’m here. you do not know how much 7 year old me thoroughly enjoyed that story and jesus christ the memories of my emotions as i read every chapter brings me so much nostalgia. if i’m being honest, your work got me into reading. kind of a weird way to start reading, but a start nonetheless. anyways, thank you once again.

Oh my gosh thank you so much I could literally cry from this, I’ve stepped away from wattpad because I just started my new job as a middle school English teacher but you have no clue how much this message means to me thank you!!!

Hi! Long time no see! So sorry about that At first it was because I was moving again and that was taking up all my time, but then I suddenly had an idea for a book and I’m the kind of person that needs to get to it when I feel inspired. I’ve been drafting that book and I have decided to give myself time to really get this thing written. Hopefully I’ll be back soon! Thanks for your patience!
