/huh! I'm not dead.

I disappeared like I was though. I uh... may revamp this as I kind of miss this. I don't know.

          	Hi!

hellstheatre

There wasn't much time spent on land for Avory lately. He only really left his ship when it was stopped to refill on supplies and to get people to their new destination. He wasn't a smuggler, more so a way of escape. For the right price, naturally.

Now, he had some time to actually walk down past the bay area. A truly rare occasion he intended to make the most of. A little night out on the town.

Granted, no one would think of him as a pirate. The way he dressed, spoke and carried himself made him seem like a noble or someone with a honorable background. It made it easier to bend in with society on the rare occasions that he actually wanted to be apart of it.

Free to stroll right into a more established pub. The ones down by the coast were for rougher folk. He didn't mind it, but a small change couldn't hurt. The tall man took up a seat right by the bar keep, placing his hat down in front of him before ordering whatever house specifical they might carry.

"How convenient." She made a mental bite of it, she was used to more talkative people so she didn't seem displeased to know another one. "It tends to work, I've met a few interesting people like this. Granted a few take it incorrectly and make it awkward."  The woman pressed her lips into a line for a moment, remembering joy a great gentleman had occasionally taken the drink as a more flirtatious gesture than it was supposed to be and had tried to get pushy. Fortunately she knew a few spells that tended to cause enough  damage to make people back off.

"I am typically more formal however if you'd prefer to be addressed as Avory I can do that." She hadn't heard of him, though she'd  be sure to find out about him. She was a woman who liked information, she traded in it. Knowledge was power and she'd  get as much of either as she could.

"The isle of Lemnora is a place of second chances, people who've done wrong come here to get jobs especially in trade."she knew a lot about this places infrastructure, mostly because it was her mother who ran it, and occasionally asked for her input in its governing. "If you want a fun afternoon I recommend the shops by the water, the street food by the Harbour is some of the best." She had endless recommendations, she'd a good part of her life here, she knew the isle like the back of her hand. At his request she took a moment to think, tapping her fingers against the counter. "I'd be up to give you some of my time in exchange for a meal." She didn't need his money, she was happy just to have a companion for a little while.

"Well, I'm not one to complain. People often say that I talk to much, so I guess there should be no worries for you." Avory didn't seem to mind it though. His optimism matched his charisma perfectly. "It is a good tactic though. Especially if it is a pretty lady buying the drinks. I'm sure it would make just about anyone a good talker."

He might know a bit, but nothing too much. The man liked to remeber names and titles. It was a way of befriending just about anyone. The tactic of repeating their names to them and honoring their social status can make you some pretty powerful friends. "Please, simply call me Avory. Unless you prefer to be formal." Not that he minded either way. He was good at adapting to the room. It's how a simple pirate like him got to have such a respected presence in some royal places. Mostly for his own benefit though.

"Oh? The trade here is pretty good as well. I can see people returning once they've visited. I'll have to. Maybe even tomorrow. I have a few days to spend. Might as well spend them well." It would be nice to take this as a break. He didn't always have to be in the look out for new people to add to his list of plans. Simply being a tourist sounded pretty good now. "Don't suppose you'd mind showing a stranger around then? I can pay you for your time. In money or dinner. Up to you entirely."

[ he only nodded , going silent . death was not a creature or "being" of many words . he could speak , sometimes he would ; but he mostly kept to himself . a sharp nail tapped on his cane for a moment , before he sighed a sigh not connected to any sort of emotion . ] " i should be going . "Death?" She echoed the name she had been given, her haunting green eyes filled with curiosity. Her hands slid into her pockets, not seeming out off, just intrigued. If lise lived anything, it was new experiences and interesting people.

//so Lise is my character in a campaign I'm playing. And she is one of the final two characters who haven't looked at some sort of deity or deity like being and decided:

          "Ah yes, spouse acquired."

          God like being? Sure

Flat out God? They are down

Eldritch being? Who hasn't by now?

Very much so, It becomes more intriguing the further your willing to dive into it. * She glanced up from the book she's been writing about her findings in, marking the page before closing it. * Most people aren't too fond of the idea of necromancy. They think someone like me shouldn't be getting her hands dirty.
