 when asked why she doesn’t talk to people
          	          this was seraphina’s response : 
          	
          	           ‘ i don’t see friends as a necessity ; 
          	                  i used to have friends but
          	         when they realised that i’m not the
          	             perfect friend they thought i was
          	
          	                  they left me all by myself .
          	  
          	                              so that’s why . 
          	               i do it to protect myself because
          	                  trust is a dangerous thing ;
          	               it’s like giving yourself up to
          	                          someone else .
          	                 i don’t want that if they could
          	                  break my trust and hurt me.
          	           i guess i don’t take many chances . ’
          	
          	the female chuckles and pushes her dark hair back with her hand . for a moment she has a vulnerable flicker in her eye but it’s replaced by the hard, guarded exterior almost instantly .

            seraphina starts playing a quiet tune with her guitar and looks up at vinnie , ‘ you seem like a cool person , and you know, they’re kind of hard to find in this world . ’

            ‘ so if you love someone , you should let them know , ’ phina pauses as her eyes become glassy with a layer of tears forming , ‘ oh , the light that you gave me will everglow . . . ’ as she finishes she wipes her eyes with her arm and looks to the ground trying to hide her face.
