Just a short update on my life.  
          
          My husband was diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer a number of years ago and underwent a clinical trial to treat it.  Although it worked, it came at a cost as it damaged his heart tissue.  The trial is now authorized therapy but when his cancer returned, he wasn’t a candidate for it and is on pill chemotherapy which is causing all sorts of issues for him, including insomnia, and memory problems.  Needless to say, helping him through this has interfered with my writing time considerably and shows no signs of getting better in the short term.
          
          I write when I can, and will post when I have something I am happy with.

          Titled Starting Over - Newly widowed Peri, also dealing with her husband’s betrayal before his death, needs a job.  After sending out her resumé she gets an interview for a live-in personal assistant and secretary position.  Learning that her employer is Congressman James Buchanan Barnes, also widowed, and insisting on a strictly professional working relationship, she accepts the challenge.
