It focuses on how others viewed the actions of SHIELD, the mystery man known as the Winter Soldier, and how it changed the life of one character in particular, an assistant news director who found herself a part of the biggest news story since Watergate.

          Chapter 39, titled Home, is told in several vignettes.  The first, set in the year after their Carnegie Hall concert, has the band finally reaching the pinnacle of their ambitions.  A visit to Southampton brings an opportunity for closure to Bucky and Lizzie.  Several months later, they reclaim what was taken from them years before.  Chapter 40 is an appendix of song lyrics.
