The first part of a new AU short fic, Four Rode In, set in 1870s is now up in Bucky Barnes Short Fics.  
          
          Part 1, titled Prologue - An older widow sends a request for help to her late husband’s Civil War army unit after the “accidental” death of her son.  The man she holds responsible is openly pressuring settlers to sell their farms to him. 
          
          I’ve done an 1899 short fic (The Gilded Age) but this is my first try at a western.  I actually considered doing it as an original piece that wasn’t fan fiction.  Hopefully it still works as a Bucky Barnes piece.
