NEW STORY ALERT!

Hi everyone, I’m excited to share that I just published the first three chapters of a new story, “Beck and Call.” It’s a slow burn college romance featuring a soon-to-be professional hockey player and a student with a chronic illness who unintentionally become roommates for senior year.

The story is finished offline, so you can expect regular updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (at 4 p.m. EDT) until all 30 chapters are posted.

If you give the story a try, I hope you fall in love with Aerin Fowler and Beck Connolly as much as I have. Thank you <3

After being on a different platform for the past nine months, "All in on You" is back on Wattpad!

It's still the same story, generally, but it's been edited, expanded in some places, and tightened in others.

The first three chapters have just been posted, and a new chapter will be posted every Tuesday and Friday evening at 7:00 pm Eastern Time, until all 45 chapters are posted.

          Happy new year!

As you may have noticed, "All in on You" is no longer available here—it can now only be read on Radish. Because I value transparency and respect you all, here are some things you should know:
          - The Radish version is very much the same story as what was posted here. I gave it a good edit so that it's (hopefully!) a bit better written, but there are no major (or even minor) plot changes (more like cleaning up some inconsistencies...)
          - The Radish version does have a few more chapters (45 vs. 38) because I broke up some of the longer chapters into two.
          - Perhaps most importantly, you will have to pay to read (some of) the chapters.
I think that's all! Again, thank you to those who read the story. <3 If you want to read it on Radish, you can search "All in on You." My author name is the same on there. Take good care!

@SM-Jacqueline thank you so much for reposting it!! I completely understand and I do hope that the different scene ideas will come together and make sense so that the story can continue. I’m going to be patient and just reread the short story! :)

@-Emilia That's such a compliment; thank you!
Short answer: I've just republished it—it's "As You Are!"
Long answer: The story's been chilling in the "Drafts" folder for the past little (long?) while. I remember you commenting on the last chapter when it was first posted that the story had potential to be more—I agree! I had moved it to the Drafts with the intention of working on it more and then reposting. But, I haven't quite gotten around to fleshing out the story (I've tried, but I can't decide if some of my "scene" ideas are best reserved for a different story, with different characters). Anyways, knowing there are people who want to read it "as it is" (couldn't resist the pun, sorry!) made all that irrelevant—enjoy! If I do decide to change it later, I can take care of that then. (Told you this was a long answer hehe).

I'm writing this post partly because today is (Canadian) Thanksgiving, and partly because the Watty's Shortlist was announced today. Although the story I submitted, All in on You, didn't make the Shortlist, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for everyone who has ever engaged with my writing. To echo what's in my bio, there are endless options for reading material (let alone entertainment, in general) and I'm perpetually in awe that there are real, lovely people out there who have chose to share their precious time with my stories. (The response to After the Storm, in particular, continues to blow me away.) I write because I love it, but I share it online with the hopes that someone will read it, and so many of you make that dream come true for me every day. Wherever you are, I hope you're well. <3

Despite starting this story way back in October 2022 and going on a 10-month break, I never doubted that this moment would come. I've just posted the final chapter of All in on You. It's now completed.

Maybe I lied a few sentences ago. Maybe I doubted whether I'd actually finish this story, but I always knew I wanted to. That's partly because of the support I've received this entire time. I can't ever recommend having an upload "schedule" like this one, but I also believed that I worked on it when I most needed this world.

For the past several months, writing this story has been my happy place. I hope reading it becomes one of yours, too.

Double update today for All in on You—kind of! Chapter Thirty-Six is quite long so I broke it into two parts for an easier reading experience.

There's also about two (!) more chapters left to go! I say 'about two' because they're plotted and not yet written so it may change a bit. Either way, the story will wrap up soon!

Thank you for reading; I hope you are enjoying it!

Hi Jacqueline
I just completed reading After the Storm and I totally loved it. The most important thing that I wanted to say to is that I loved ur original ending(the one they didn't end up together). The other ending must have been good, I started reading the 1st bonus chapter but didn't continue and read ur last note that you have posted in the book. After reading it I felt a lot of emotions(throughout reading the book also I felt a lot) , when you said that this was inspired by ur real life emotions I felt a little more connected to you than before cuz I'm going through all that emotions right now. But reading the book also made me understand that with time I'll also be able to move on and let go of all the things.
So thank you so much that without even us knowing each other, you have helped me a lot.
          Lots of love to you.

@ShreyaSarangi Hi!! Thank you so much for reading and for sending me this kind message!! I'm always happy to hear that the original ending resonates with people, because that was the one (obviously) that resonated with me too. It's funny, because it makes me both happy and sad to hear how you connect with the story. These emotions can be difficult, but like storm will pass. ;)
And, even without knowing you, you've made my day.
            Lots of love back!!
