I'm writing this post partly because today is (Canadian) Thanksgiving, and partly because the Watty's Shortlist was announced today. Although the story I submitted, All in on You, didn't make the Shortlist, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for everyone who has ever engaged with my writing. To echo what's in my bio, there are endless options for reading material (let alone entertainment, in general) and I'm perpetually in awe that there are real, lovely people out there who have chose to share their precious time with my stories. (The response to After the Storm, in particular, continues to blow me away.) I write because I love it, but I share it online with the hopes that someone will read it, and so many of you make that dream come true for me every day. Wherever you are, I hope you're well. <3

Despite starting this story way back in October 2022 and going on a 10-month break, I never doubted that this moment would come. I've just posted the final chapter of All in on You. It's now completed.

Maybe I lied a few sentences ago. Maybe I doubted whether I'd actually finish this story, but I always knew I wanted to. That's partly because of the support I've received this entire time. I can't ever recommend having an upload "schedule" like this one, but I also believed that I worked on it when I most needed this world.

For the past several months, writing this story has been my happy place. I hope reading it becomes one of yours, too.

Double update today for All in on You—kind of! Chapter Thirty-Six is quite long so I broke it into two parts for an easier reading experience.

There's also about two (!) more chapters left to go! I say 'about two' because they're plotted and not yet written so it may change a bit. Either way, the story will wrap up soon!

Thank you for reading; I hope you are enjoying it!

Hi Jacqueline
I just completed reading After the Storm and I totally loved it. The most important thing that I wanted to say to is that I loved ur original ending(the one they didn't end up together). The other ending must have been good, I started reading the 1st bonus chapter but didn't continue and read ur last note that you have posted in the book. After reading it I felt a lot of emotions(throughout reading the book also I felt a lot) , when you said that this was inspired by ur real life emotions I felt a little more connected to you than before cuz I'm going through all that emotions right now. But reading the book also made me understand that with time I'll also be able to move on and let go of all the things.
So thank you so much that without even us knowing each other, you have helped me a lot.
          Lots of love to you.

@ShreyaSarangi Hi!! Thank you so much for reading and for sending me this kind message!! I'm always happy to hear that the original ending resonates with people, because that was the one (obviously) that resonated with me too. It's funny, because it makes me both happy and sad to hear how you connect with the story. These emotions can be difficult, but like storm will pass. ;)
And, even without knowing you, you've made my day.
            Lots of love back!!

Hi Author!

I just finished reading “after the storm” and just want to say that I loved the beginning of the story I was smiling while reading it til I got to eh part(where MLs whole personality changed all of a sudden). I liked how you originally ended it cause you truely can’t force someone to love you like that, (tho imma say I honestly think the Ml won’t ever find someone who loved him like the FL did before all that fame) so the original ending was almost perfect what would have made the ending better in my opinion is after idk maybe a few years the FL does find someone who loves her wholeheartedly because I truly believe she deserves someone like that to spend the rest of her life with who’s not the ML.

          Have a wonderful day!

@NerdLion2004 Thanks so much for reading and messaging me! I'm glad the story resonated with you, and I agree that the original ending has some merit to it (which is why I ultimately kept it that way and added a "Bonus" ending. )Take good care!!

Just posted Chapter Thirty of All in on You! I wanted to announce the update here, because it's too serendipitous that the story hit 30k reads today. I'm so grateful for everyone's support in reaching this milestone, especially considering that it's an ongoing story that I haven't always been good at updating regularly (but I'm trying to do better!) If you're reading it, I hope you're liking it!

@sophiescencen EEEPPP! Same excited word hehe. Thanks for your support!!

I've just posted Chapter Twenty of All in on You! I apologize for the delay between chapters for this update. Although I don't have an upload schedule, that's still a much longer gap than I'd ever want or intend between updates. And thank you for over 20k reads—I hope you're enjoying the story, if you're reading! :)

SM-Jacqueline

I've edited and reposted the first 14 chapters of All in on You. There were some inconsistencies in the plot I needed to iron out and I also changed some names of the minor characters (I realized I have a Thomas in each of my stories. Stop the nonsense.) Oh, and CHAPTER FIFTEEN (a brand new chapter) HAS BEEN POSTED! Thanks, everyone, for your patience with this story.

A quick update from me regarding some stories, particularly All in on You! (This message is also posted at the end of the most recent chapter.)

Over the past few days, All in on You has gotten some new readers (welcome!!) and with that has come a few comments asking about updates to the story. I am so grateful people are reading it and seem to be enjoying it so far! I am so sorry it's taken me so long to update it. Your comments are so inspiring, and I truly do intend to continue with the story. And that's the purpose of this message, to give some light on when that will be.

I'm currently writing and posting a story called Still Beating and I'd like to finish writing that before I return to All in on You. The good news is that it's almost done, with only a few more chapters to go. I post a new chapter for Still Beating every Monday, and the story will be finished on here by late September. BUT I schedule chapters in advance, so that means I'll resume writing All in on You even if Still Beating isn't completely published on here yet. And, Still Beating won't affect when I post All in on You chapters. Essentially, once I've written and scheduled Still Beating, I'm "all in" on All in on You (couldn't resist that).

While you're here, I have a question: do you prefer a set upload schedule (e.g., every Monday) or a more sporadic schedule based on when I write the chapters, where you may get a chapter more often than once a week some weeks, and longer between other updates?

Thanks so much for your support and talk soon!

@ScandalousFlames I love the way you signed the message!! Thanks for your sharing your preference. I can see where you're coming from. :)

@-Emilia Ah, that's an interesting perspective I hadn't considered – some may prefer to read all at once so the update schedule doesn't matter at much.

As You Are!! I'd like to finish All in on You before I get back to that one. I'm learning that I work best working on one story at a time. *covers eyes with hands*

Miss writer Ma’am thank you for this update. Just read your book and I am COMMITTED to this story. I think you should post as it comes because I love the idea of getting a surprise double chapter. Almost like a lil gift for waiting this long (hehe). Anyways…. Happy writing! Looking forward to finishing this story!

            Yours truly,
