I hope u continue  I was really enjoy reading this story.

Love this story lil murda has different layers to him and is a very complex human being.

in Surviving the Valley i focus a lot on the relationship between Alicia and Murda. Alicia was created to be a reflection of the good, bad, ugly & beautiful we see portrayed in Murda. The side that seeps out into his love life, his respect for woman, his need to protect, his hustle and his approach to the street life. Though I don’t like Alicia OR Murda all the time, I LOVE them and the complexity that their relationship brings. In my humble opinion, their relationship quite perfectly displays what a dysfunctional familial relationship can be without always appearing to be the part to OTHERS

better late than nevaaaa. chapter 10 of STV is up

          hey framilyyyy! i’ve decided that after chapter 10 i’m taking a teensyy little break to recharge and celebrate my birthday! i didn’t expect y’all to love the fic so much…nor did i even know i would still be writing it after chapter 1, but i’m so happy with the responses! writing this fic has got me back into writing after a 6 month hiatus so i’m super grateful. i have however been going at this nonstop for the last few days LMFAOAAOOAAO 
          
          taking this lil break cause i want to give y’all something with substance (without burning myself out) and i also want y’all to be able to sit with the new storylines and characters a lil bit. break most likely won’t be for more than a week tho.. don’t worry :) in the meantime, feel free to re re re read and pick up some gems u didn’t before.

Fun fact: the title chapter 5 (Screamin’ Murda) was originally the title of chapter 8 (Who Shot Ya?) 
          
          i found this title to be more fitting for chapter 8 instead, considering the plot and theme of the chapter. What y’all think? Good swap?
