@SPIANAFORESTARMY My exams also finished recently, and I'm praying for the same in physics. It went terribly, and somehow our school decided that OMR and Competition Standard Questions were a better fit for us to prepare us for the future and the boards together, not considering that not all science students take up science to give NEET and JEE. Except for my sciences, others went fairly well, especially language and literature. And I wanna tell you, even though I got 96.8% in 10th ICSE, in 11th I barely maintained a 79.5% in both semesters. 11th is a change phase just like 9th was, and it's gonna be relatively harder to imbibe the new experiences and difficulties thrown at you, cause it's new yk, you're not used to covering that much syllabus in a year, and it's genuinely too much. Don't beat yourself for it. 12th is lengthier, but you get a grip by that time on how to manage that much syllabus, and also, you get a clearer picture of what to prioritize while preparing for each internal exam you give before boards, in 11th there isn't any preparatory exam so yeah, accommodating gets tougher. but trust me, you're not the only one going down. Many toppers are gonna be like you, and it's only a very very minute number that gets to still maintain their performance because they've been taking real hard courses outside school, and plus there's something called genes. So don't let it get to you too bad. It happens with almost everyone, and it's a learning phase, and the ones who learn to grow out of it while also improvising on what they lack by analyzing instead of wasting their time in self-criticism, get it easier later in life. So don't be harsh. You did well. You'll do better in the future. Even if the next semester isn't much better. Trust me, 12th will be full of learning from your mistakes and as long as you handle that with a thought of self-improvising instead of self-criticism, you'll have it all easier and learn to appreciate how much your brain and body do.
