November is over~! Finally! Congrats to everyone who wrote this past month!
I did not reach the 50k goal of NaNoWriMo this year but that's okay! I wrote about 38k words on The Blacksmith and the Prince in the month of November. :) I'll still continue working on it throughout December.
But I also just gave myself a new winter project, ooops
Anyway, bare with me as I slowly update the chapters for the Blacksmith and the Prince. I expect the first draft to be done later this month.

Gahhhh~! I feel like I've been working on this chapter for the past week? This chapter meanders and drags in places where it shouldn't. Oh well. It's a first draft.
I also streamed some of me writing this on my (super secret not-so-secret) twitch account under the username savanimay
:)) if you want to join in on some writing streams in the future

My mental health stole my motivation and time management today. Curse you, Daylight Savings.
Just jotted down a couple of sentences on my notes app, so I can say I technically wrote today. Off to bed hoping that I can play NaNo catch up tomorrow.

Happy first day of NaNo!
I've been on this NaNo rollercoaster since 2010 and it's never been easy. Each word I've penned during any November (whether I actively participated or not) has been worth it and has counted toward something magical.
NaNo, despite all of its faults, is one of my favorite times of the year. It connects us writers and uplifts our community.
Whether you're participating or not, I hope the spirit of NaNo guides and enlightens you.
          Good luck writing!

I've tentatively decided on my NaNo project. I've already written part way through chapter two of The Blacksmith and the Prince. Hopefully, I'll post the completed second before November begins. After that, we're in the 50k word stretch!
To everyone participating, good luck! We got this! Remember that your fellow creatives are always here for you, so reach out to one another this upcoming month.
