I hate that I’m still so invested in this book. And I hate it even more that a small part of me is still holding on to the hope that you’ll update and complete it one day, even though the reality is that it’s probably never going to happen. I first came across this book when I was 16 or 17, and I’ll be turning 20 in just a month. As much as I love this book and Sophie & Antonio, it’s time to remove this book from my library and move on completely:)

Hi y’all, I just wanted make “new readers” aware that the author has done this multiple times. I like to consider myself “one of the original readers”. I was there the FIRST time the author disappeared and that went on for years. I’ve wasted my actual entire teenage years waiting for this book to be finished. I understand that the author “lost their original account”, but this is a repetitive pattern on both accounts. They are NOT going to finish “Sold to the Mafia”. I hate to say it. It’s insane to me that the author is still doing this. I don’t want to expose myself but I was actually barely a teenager when the author disappeared the first time, and now I’m almost an adult. I’m sorry. I mean absolutely NO hate. I’m just trying to save people from getting emotionally invested in this situation like I did years ago. Hope all is well, stay safe!

And in the back of my mind I’m still thinking well maybe she’s just taking a break, maybe she’s editing all the old chapters but she would’ve given us an update then! Why am I going insane about thisss

I’m fairly new I started reading in 2021 I believe and I’m already emotionally invested  idk what it is about the book honestly I think it’s cause I found it during a hard time and got way to deep into it. I don’t understand why the author does this but we also don’t know her personally at ALL. I first read when I was 14 and now I’m 18 and still think about the book genuinely every day. I don’t even read anything on wattpad anymore I solely have the app for THIS book. I was beyond excited when she came back with new chapters but I really need to move on honestly. I didn’t realize she has done this so many times or that it has gone on for years. I would say i can’t wait that long but knowing me I’ll still prob be checking for updates in 4 years unfortunately
