“Bella, of course. Now there’s a woman who wouldn’t know how to lie. As for showing me what you can do with spells involved, I have to say I’m not overly interested. Magic has no place in that. If you can’t do it naturally, then you shouldn’t be doing it at all,” he told her. “But that’s not what we were discussing here. We were talking about you and the fact you’re looking for love. So who is he then? Or she.”

            “ & who’s that reliable source, might I ask? Because I certainly haven’t heard anyone credible say that they’ve shagged her.” The girl inquired. Her head tilted slightly, casting an innocent look of curiosity across her delicate features. Truth be told, the brunette could hardly care less about who’s shagged who. She was just grateful that the subject had shifted to something far less personal on her end. “As for her alleged flexibility, there are plenty of spells to use to elevate that specific ability. I could certainly show you mine sometime.” 

"Oh that's very tempting, but I also enjoy breathing way too much to risk my life like that," he replied, pulling a face at the thought of her sticking a knife between his ribs. "Let's just say I've heard about her... abilities from a reliable source. I'm still confused as to how anyone can be as flexible as her though. You think it would be impossible."

She didn't seem all that concerned by Emmeline's outburst, or the face she pulled, the small knowing smile still playing on her lips. "Well, if you say so," she replied casually. There was no point in pressing an issue, when silence was generally the best way to encourage others to talk. And if she continued to remain stubbornly in denial... well, time would soon prove a factor that would grant everyone the answers. In the end, Emmeline would give in, either to her heart, or the temptation to talk, and soon enough, the entire school would no doubt know.

            The girl pulled a rather unflattering face, her features twisting into a look of disgust. She let out a loud scoff of disbelief. She could hardly believe the audacity of the girl suggesting that she was in love with Mulciber of all people. The thought repulsed her, despite her fondness for him. “Adolph? Oh Merlin, no. The boy is an excellent shag and all, but I would rather drown myself in the lake than fall in love with him. He’s an absolute toe rag at the best of times.” She paused temporarily, taking another drink out of her mug before launching back into her denials. “& as for Black, he wouldn’t be in the running either. He looks too much like his brother.” 

"You can deny it all you want, but I know that look," Maya told her with a soft laugh. Her index finger absentmindedly traced the rim of her glass, eyes never leaving the other witch's face. "I used to wear it once myself. And your denial came far too quickly to be anything else. So, let me guess, it's a toss up between Black and Mulciber, if those are the only two you can tolerate."
