Anyone who has read my WLW stories: I need your feedback. How can I improve them? What was lacking in character or plot?

JKN127

Okay so I just read your about and the descriptions of your books and noticed that in most if not all,the main female character is a beautiful, strong, independent South African woamn with beautiful names like Kamo, Khanyi Ntabiseng and more and that makes me so happy as we don't really see that a lot if not,at all on here so thank you so much<333

@JKN127 I am glad you saw yourself reflected in these characters, that was and is my aim❤️

HII I just wanted to say before I started your book "The assassin's Weakness" I want you to know the, I love you SOOO much. This is your first book I've ever been recommended and I'm so grateful mainly because of this book being set in SA which is where I'm from. The entire time I was reading the description, I wasn't sure if I should pronounce her name like Kamogelo or try it a different way so when I saw you say it was set in SA it relaxed me and excited me.I don't really know what to expect but I'm Soo excited.Thank you for taking the time to write this book and hopefully read this message<333

I think many people think pregnancy fixes mental illness and they often do not realise that it makes it worse. The fact that your take away from a depressed person experiencing an episode because there is a foreign body in their body, is to call them a weirdo and you can not empathize with the mentally ill, worries me about how much we know about pregnancy, mental health and the intersection between the two.

Sometimes I wish we would do research on our biases to find more and know more instead of assuming our view on an experience we have never had, is right.

I feel like recently, a lot of the people reading my stories, don't come to my profile.

1.) I don't want to overtly state that all my FMCs are neurodivergent
2.) This means, they all have anxiety and depression.
3.) A lot of how the characters think, act, and react are their actions I have taken in the past or how I would react in a situation. (Being mentally ill and neurodivergent)
4.) My FMCs are South African, Sotho women, they were raised to be South African Sotho women, I don't write in Sesotho because I am not as fluent in it as I used to be.
5.) My characters act the way they do because they are fictional. It's pretend.
6.) There is also so much subtext that so many people miss and it makes me want to cry. None of my characters are one-dimensional, the reasons are beneath the writing, I promise.
7.) I try my best with the spelling, but I am dyslexic, and even with the help of apps like Grammarly, I get the words really, really wrong

So when they act a certain way, that you probably wouldn't, maybe it's because they are mentally ill...

Hey Great, Amazing People

After uploading the last chapter of "Heir to the Khalil Throne", Wattpad invited me to join the creator's program, thank you for the applause. But this meant that I needed to have an ongoing book Lucky for me, I'm always writing books and the next book is a lesbian romance I know some of you, truly want a Darian and William book, working on it but it will not be ready for a while given the list of 28 drafts I am working on.

Would love your support on this, unlike my other book, I want to upload one chapter a week due to how hectic my life is about to become and given how crazy I am working on multiple books (currently 4) I had to reduce it to one chapter a week.

Will upload every Friday around 10 pm SAST.

It's 07 October 2023...

I'm finally 20! I wish I could say, I waited for this but quite frankly, I never imagined I would be here. It is not my wildest dream either but I am grateful that I am here.

Grateful that I get to spend time with my friends and those who love me and that I get to write lovely(most of the time) stories for you all.

While I never imagined what 20 would look like, I can not wait to dream of what 20 could be.

Thank you for always supporting my work, for reading, voting, commenting and sharing. Thank you for caring enough to inbox me. Thank you for it all because on some of those dark days, it's great to read that some one enjoys reading a story you imagined and wrote down.

Thank you for being part of my community. Thank you for being along for the ride and to more books and to getting published.
