Hey guys!
          
          Wattpad is launching a new feature that will make sharing your reactions to stories and saving your favorite parts even more fun!
          
          The feature is called Memories. You can save your reaction by highlighting any part of a story and then selecting a Sticker. The writer and other readers will be able to see your reaction, and you can find your highlights in the Memories tab of your library. 
          
          The feature is rolling out on the iOS app. If you’re using Wattpad on an iOS device you will see Memories by September 16th. 
          
          Those of us (like me!) who use Wattpad on Android and web will have to wait for now (cry!), but Memories on Android is on the way soon.

The forums are closing (for now)...
          
          I know I haven't been on them recently,  but the Clubs, then, Forums were a pivotal part of my introduction to Wattpad. 
          
          It was reading posts from writers that inspired me to turn from reader into writer! 
          
          I met so many wonderful people who encouraged me and helped me, and I owe them all a world of gratitude. 
          
          It will be sad to see the forums close for now, but it's worse how more and more people weren't having a positive experience there anymore.

          Also, as an Ambassador,  I can assure you that HQ is wanting feedback from all levels regarding this. They appreciate any who take the time to complete the feedback form (link in the pinned forum post). 
          
          At this stage they have not ruled out reopening the forums, but the first priority is strengthening Diversity and Inclusion practises to better create a safe and welcoming place for all. 
          
          It was painful to see so much drama and hurt constantly being stirred up in what is supposed to be a positive,  encouraging and engaged community. 
          
          As hard as it is, I respect HQ for hitting the pause button.
          
          Hopefully, with constructive and creative feedback, together we can help HQ figure our how to bring back a better and more inclusive community that will thrive and grow onwards and upwards to greatness.

Oh dang it's been awhile

          hope you’re doing okay c:

I'm excited and honoured to share that I'm now a Wattpad Ambassador. 
          
          I'll be primarily working with the Data team, assisting HQ with projects around data, machine learning, and algorithms.
