One thing that I don't believe too many people realize is that just because someone has a good home life doesn't mean that they are perfect. They can still have anxiety & they can still feel like nothing is there, even though they know there is. I feel that my purpose as a writer is to convey to the world that everyone has a story. Everyone has their worries. Everyone has something that makes their mind cringe & everyone has something that they stress & hurt & ache over. I want people to realize that no one "has it all," some can simply hide their emptiness from others. All being said, I am not calling myself a depressed loner, I am simply stating that even though I consider myself privileged, I still have horrible anxiety & I still feel very lonely in this disgusting patriarchy we call high school, but my point? Everyone feels this way at some time in their life; it's a fact that comes with being born. But the beautiful journey that is life is overcoming these obstacles. Stop seeing yourself as an outcast, see yourself as an individual.
