I’m back ❤️ lol I’m a senior in college, so my writing has improved! ✨

I have so much to share, stay tuned these next couple of months! ✨

When I first started writing poetry, I wrote about love. I tied my writing to love and heartbreak, and unfortunately, those were the only things I could write about. Now, I realize that there is more to life than romantic love. Self-love is THE greatest love of all, and I've been on my healing journey for years cultivating it. I allowed my pain and past betrayls to take away my interest for writing and any other creative activities I enjoyed. However, I am no longer in this space. I have set myself free. To all the people who enjoyed my writing, you can expect more from me soon. I went into hibernation mode for a while, but I'm back. I'm back and I'm better. <3

I'm rereading old poems. I have a very old soul lol and I am an amazing writer. I haven't written anything in a long time because I was always trying to write about other people and capture their beauty in a poem. Or I would keep trying to convey how hurt I was from a past relationship. I realized I couldn't keep writing about that. I wanna make another book. I wanna write a love novel + a poetry book full of affirmations and self love.

Hi hun! I love your beautifully written poetry. I could feel your heart and soul through the beats in the rhythm of your words. I would love if you checked out some of my poetry because from what I read I feel as though you would be able to relate to my words as well ♡

Poetry helps me to release all my pent up emotions. I used to be scared to write poems about how I truly felt, but I'm not anymore. I am honoring how I feel and sometimes my emotions towards other people won't be kind and loving and that's okay. They are my emotions and anyone who's gone through what I've gone through would feel this way. I can't be ashamed of how I feel and I encourage my readers to honor their feelings. Society teaches us that anger, resentment and other unpleasant emotions should be completely avoided , but I've found that when you actually sit with those emotions , they go away on their own. Yes anger and resentment can become an issue, only if you keep holding it which causes it to grow. It grows because we are taught that those kind of emotions are wrong to feel, so they build up as we continue to avoid them. If you tell yourself "its okay and completely understandable why I feel this way" in that way you are honoring your feelings and that is what helps you let them go. Namaste
