            Born June 26, 1993, to Jenna Sommers and Mason Lockwood, Cherry grew up in the quiet corners of Mystic Falls, shielded from council politics and Lockwood expectations. From Jenna, she inherited psychic sensitivity that manifested early as vivid dreams, intrusive thoughts, and an uncanny ability to read emotional undercurrents. From Mason, she inherited the dormant werewolf curse and a stubborn, protective spirit.
            
            Mason trained her in discipline long before she understood why. After his death, grief and rage triggered her first shift, activating the Lockwood curse. The transformation hardened her. She began training obsessively, refining her archery into a weaponized art and channeling her psychic energy into precision, learning to build mental shields and ignite her arrows with focused intent.
            
            By Season 3, Klaus recognized what she was becoming. Not just a wolf. Not just psychic. Potential. He completed her transition, awakening her vampiric side and solidifying her as a true tribrid. The change amplified everything: her strength, speed, telepathy, and control over fire and temperature. Immortality came with clarity and isolation.
            
            While Mystic Falls unraveled, Cherry balanced AP classes, managing The Grill, and quietly building her own art gallery front. Behind the polished exterior, she navigated supernatural politics with calculated restraint. Immune to compulsion and difficult to intimidate, she became a rare constant in a town ruled by chaos.
