Happy thanksgiving! It is important to remember that this holiday was built off of Native American genocide and that we are living on stolen land and have forced the indigenous peoples into unknown lands only to force them out of those lands and take their children away to be tortured and killed in residential schools and for the few who survived to have immense trauma and hardly any cultural identity that will be passed on for generations to come! Not to mention that our government barely funds where they live now so they’re in immense poverty and also just generally doesn’t care about their population and continues to ignore pleas for help and rarely attempts to actually help find the missing women and children or try to solve their murders or give their prosecutors any sort of punishment for their actions!  but yeah have fun getting into a food coma!
