Question for present/past/future readers. How would you feel about the protagonist (you) of Tumbling on eggshells to have a fake 'corruption' arc? Like joining the emporers coven to get more information or something, but also to get a leg up on defeating Belos later on? Make other characters think you've gone bad or at least led down a dark path to create more tension as the book progresses?
