I don't know if you knew that your first "Luke" chapter seems to be an unedited rough draft of the chapters that follow all the way to "Letter Opener"? The edited chapters following "Luke" are perfect and much easier to read in paragraph format. Maybe consider deleting "Luke" as to not throw off other readers?
You have a very polished, fun, mysterious and imaginative way of writing. I love Carla's strength, her personality, the enigma that surrounds her...can't wait to see what happens! :)
