Hello, dear readers!
I know, I have been tardy on updating The Storm Winds of Glazglubin, and I apologize. Being swamped with work and in a bit of a creative hole the past two weeks have set me back, but also given me the opportunity to plan out upcoming parts!

Update: It was a fun writing session and I am happy to say that I was able to complete and upload the newest part. This time I had the opportunity to sprinkle in some exposition on magic, economy, and politics around the Eastern Fiefdoms where Kenji's city, Aerialis, lies.

With the third chapter of The Storm Winds of Glazglubin completed, spellblight has become a more and more prevalent topic. But what is it?

When people use more magic than their souls can handle, their gates begin to accrue permanent damage, causing magic from the Great Clockwork to "leak" in. It turns their hair as white as snow and their eyes cobalt blue, and at some point, they become unable to perform magic altogether. Nearly everywhere in the world of Aqualon, such blighters are seen as lesser people, the stigma of having a "damaged soul" clinging to them...

Dear Readers,
After long deliberation, I have written and uploaded a brand-new prologue for "The Storm Winds of Glazglubin". The initial prologue was intended specifically for a written publication and a bit of a slow kick-off, which I think isn't the optimum for a serial publication. While the new one isn't an action bonanza or anything like that, I do feel it has more of a hook to it and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Only about 6-7 more ours until the final part of "The Storm Winds of Glazglubin", chapter 2 comes out! This is the critical point that kicks off Kenji's journey across the world of Aqualon, and at roughly 2.5k words, the final chapter part comes with a satisfying crunch.

Ever wonder what exactly those "Keepers" are I write about in my Aqualon stories?
Fret not, for there is a whole lore article on the subject of these most powerful of mages for your reading pleasure!
