It was the kind of cattiness one would get from someone resentful and malicious. Always trying to pass their snappy behavior and comments off as playful remarks or sarcasm.

“Spoiled brat,” another woman chimed in. “Thats what happens when you raise a kid with a silver spoon in their mouth.”

The conversation was followed by collective sounds of laughter, echoing over the stone walls. And you made an effort to tune out the rest of the exchange….

          	Working on the next chapter!

When will some people understand the reason why I described Soulbound (Y/n) as being extremely good looking— I’m starting to think my point completely flew over peoples heads

@SakikoSaito I love this!! I’m telling you, you have one of the best written x readers out there, and this is absolutely why. It’s not just a cliché x reader, you care about what you’re writing and you truly are creating a great story with believable characters, especially (Y/n). Thank you!

@Food_My_Lifeline you make a fair point, it’s honestly just a little frustrating when people miss the point of what I’m trying to write.

I didn’t write her that way because it’s the (Y/n) thing to do. Her being extremely pretty was a plot point since she’s mean’t to embody the flower.

That and the fact that I try to use her “beauty” to actually address themes concerning real life beauty standards.

And most importantly, I’ve been trying to foster the theme of self love within my readers because (Y/n) is supposed to represent the reader. She’s not my OC, the term (Y/n) is used to make the story feel more inclusive and the reader can imagine them how they want. However I can not write her without at least adding a personality otherwise the story won’t be as impactful.

But it seems these points have completely flown over some peoples heads and now I’m receiving sarcastic comments about how special and unique we are.

I just wish people stopped looking at the surface level of things for once and actually paid more attention to underlying themes.

I’m sorry for going into this very lengthy rant. It just frustrates me when people misinterpret my work. I might not be the best in expressing these ideas, but I wish people could stop reading my work with the intent of nitpicking at the whole x reader genre. Yes there are going to be clichés such as every other genre, but I thinking focusing on that too much draws attention from the actual story.

            Thanks for responding btw!

Your such a talented writer. You have the magical capabilities of bringing characters to life and enticing a reader to delve into yoru world. Not simply changing them, but instead, improving them to be better. Keep doing what you do. Your work means so much more than just made up words on a screen. They hold worlds about love, hope, anger, and second chances. You inspire me to make one day be able to create something as cool as the things you've made today.

We’re just going to ignore my more than a week long absence like Giyu ignores his feelings for (Y/n)

Anyway, I think I’m back. And I might post a chapter or two soon.
