          I know that updating has been slow, and I'm sorry for all my loyal and new readers, but life sometimes has to come first.
          
          I have been less busy recently though so I'm hoping to have more time to write.
          
          Anyhow, I thank you all for your support. "The Not So Dark Hours" has come so far, and I have you to thank for it.
          
          Over 20k reads and about 1.2k votes are out of this world and I never could have imagined this much of a reading community to start in my little fanfic that I began in the beginning of January this year. Can you believe it? It's almost been a whole year, full circle. I am so thankful to everyone that has accompanied my story thus far, and hope that you continue to do so.

          I just wanted to say thank you for all the views (over 7.7k) and for all the support.
          
          I also wanted to apologize for not uploading in quite a while. I've been in a deep slump and to be honest, I'm still working my way out of it. I don't know when my next chapter will come, but it will come.
          
          I don't want to overshare, but I will say this: These past few weeks have been (for me) the time to say goodbye to everyone in my life (for the time being). I am spending a whole year on another continent and I am about as excited as I am sad to leave my old life behind (as I said, for a year). So yeah, that and I writer's block have been the main contributors to the slow updating.

          I just wanted to say sorry for being so inactive lately. There was a lot of work to do, but Friday was probably the last big deadline and somehow I have a social life now.
          
          Like, I kid you not, just this morning I was invited to the THIRD party this year. Don't get me wrong, I'm DEFINITELY not a social butterfly, nor someone who drinks more than a glass of sparkly wine on a special occasion, which is why this is so weird to me. Buuuut, alas, I guess making new friends is never the wrong way to go. Unless they're toxic.
          
          That aside, I just wanted to apologize for not updating my story lately, which will soon be rectified!

Okie dokie, so I know I said this already, but I just wanted to say I'm really happy here in my holidays, I've really needed that. 
          
          Needless to say that sleeping under the desert sky and feeding a fennec fox, as well as seeing the white and black desert has been really wonderful ♡
          
          I love writing and being home, but I noticed that I had really needed a break physically and mentally, but soon I'm going to be back and writing at my "Not so Dark Hours".
