I am a Filipina who moved to California in August 2016. I decided to go to California to grab that bigger possibility to give my mom a better life in the Philippines. In that process, I lost many friends and family, my almost finished degree, one of the best guys in the world and most importantly, I lost myself.  Now, I changed, got tougher and more vulnerable at the same time.  I thought working in a hotel and to have a good career out of it would be the dream of my life, but then I realized, maybe I could be more. So here I am---
