Okay, I’m sorry but something happened today.
          	My friend told her mom our friend is non binary and will go by they and them.
          	
          	AnD THEN her mom said multiple things that could hurt her.
          	She said gender is a choice..
          	She then said you can’t go by they or them despite what we were researching.
          	She said that  being non binary is SELFISH.
          	WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ‘SELFISH?’ 
          	And then she started mocking my friend for it.
          	And then she was okay with people changing to the opposite gender but not into non binary.
          	My friend and I need help with this situation. Can you help please?
          	
          	(Sorry, had to rant. She gave permission to talk about it here so my friend knows I typed this)
          	
          	(Also, im sorry if I offend. I’m still learning researching so if I get anything wrong PLEASE tell me!)

@SaltyAnxiousAsexual I've been through this exact situation with my mother- the same words were said when I tried to be civil...
          	  I too am Non-Binary and all I can tell you is that surround yourself with people who support you and eventually, hopefully your mother will come around.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO READ THIS, IT ISN'T IMPORTANT OR ANYTHING, I JUST WANT TO TELL THE INTERNET OF THIS WEIRD STORY
          
          Hey, so uh.. Random thing to tell the four people who are following me. I was typing something to my friend and it almost autocorrected to 'Desk Asexual.'
          
          'DESK.'
          ' ASEXUAL.'
          ...Well, I'm not a desk, that's for sure.
          
          (I am scared that I'm spamming people's notifications bc i keep deleting and-)
