Thanks for the votes on my story! Sorry that’s it’s poorly written, I made it a year ago

Writing is a skill that can take years to master! I’ve been writing ever since the sixth grade, (I’m in 10th now) and I’m still learning! I honestly don’t know if anyone considers themselves a master or writing, to be honest. I don’t even think Stephen King considers himself a master of writing! 
          I was self taught, so what I like to do is take a certain word and see if I can find a synonym of it to make it better! So like, spoke instead of said. Sometimes you can get inspiration off of other people’s stories! So instead of “she barged through the door,” I would probably say “Gasps erupted from the room as the burst through the door.” That was probably a bad example, but I hope you understood my point!
