Hey everyone. My name is Sam and I am 24 years old. I currently have a B.A. in English Literature and a M.L.I.S. (Masters of Library and Information Science). Books have always been a huge part of my life so it seemed rather natural to try my hand at writing some. Though I wrote little stories and such in elementary school I did not start to take my writing seriously until junior high. Looking back those stories are still incredibly juvenile but they helped me learn about creating a lengthy story and getting it completed while also staying busy with school, extra-curricular activities, and a job. 

I found the amazing writing program NaNoWriMo in November 2005 and started participating in 2006. It has been one of the greatest helps for my writing and I am proud to say that I am now a Municipal Liaison for my region, helping others achieve the 50,000 word goal every November. Recently I have had a rather huge setback in my writing. Both my flash drive and my external hard drive that held practically all of my novel-length stories in them decided to stop working. That is over half a million words that might be lost to the technology wasteland. I am hoping my awesome techie uncle can help, but if not I will have to re-type everything up from my hard copies. It will be a rather long process and I am not exactly looking forward to it.

I love fantasy, sci-fi, and romance best, but I do read outside of those genres as well. I'm glad to be here on Wattpad and I hope that I can get some constructive criticism on my stuff when I start posting. Thanks.
